DINING, ENTERTAINMENT & SHOPPING
Northwest Denver has an incredible assortment of top restaurants, with many in the Highlands, Sunnyside, Berkeley, or Sloan’s Lake neighborhoods. But of course, there are great eateries in each pocket of Northwest Denver. Bacon Social House says it all, a restaurant serving up delicious American fare with bacon-inspired dishes in a fun social setting. At Acova, bite into tasty dishes where modern Italian and global flavors collide in a cozy atmosphere. Two more Italian favorites are the rustic Postino Lohi and Bar Dough, where great pizza, salads, and pasta dishes are abundant.
The Bindery is a market, fine dining restaurant, and bakery all in one with artisanal foods and European influence. Avanti Food and Beverage and Linger are both eclectic restaurants in unique settings. Avanti is in a bi-level shipping container offering various food vendors, whereas Linger is in an old mortuary with a rooftop bar. Or grab a table at Root Down with fresh-from-the-earth menu items in an old gas filling station.
Boutique-style shops can be found in the charming downtown areas of Highlands and on Tennyson Street in Berkeley. Or browse the nearby 16th Street Mall and Denver Pavilions for additional retail shopping.
