Teller’s Tap Room & Kitchen is the spot for terrific American homestyle menu items from salads, burgers, fish, and prime rib paired with one of many beers offered. Whether it be for brunch, drinks, or dinner, the cozy-chic Tstreet has a warm ambiance with elevated American fare. For the best Mexican food in town, Jose O’Shea’s has traditional items such as enchiladas, chile rellenos, burritos, and tacos. And don’t miss out on ordering one of the tasty margaritas or other fun cocktails.

Things To Do

Lakewood is an ideal place to call home, especially for those who enjoy spending time outdoors in nature but don’t want to be far from all the amenities the city has to offer. Bear Creek Lake Park has a wide assortment of activities such as playgrounds, trails for walking and running, fishing, picnicking, and water-skiing in the warmer months. Another great park with lush scenery is Bear Creek Greenbelt Park, the path running along the water and an open meadow. Locals seeking more of a challenge will like the trails with inclines and fantastic views at William F. Hayden on Green Mountain.
Two spectacular golf courses with views of the Rocky Mountains are Bear Creek Golf Club and Lakewood Country Club. Besides golfing, you can enjoy building social connections with other members of the community. If you like listening to live music, there is no better place in Denver than at Red Rocks Amphitheatre. This outdoor venue is set in the vibrant red rocks and has natural acoustics that will sound amazing no matter the concert. This suburb of Denver is booming with craft breweries, but a few to make a note of are Green Mountain Beer Company, Great Frontier Brewing, and Westfax Brewing Company.

Lakewood has outstanding schools served by the Jefferson County School District.
