Wheat Ridge is a vibrant and cool suburb a mere 5 miles northwest of downtown Denver and east of the stunning Rocky Mountains. Settlers established the city during the gold rush craze, but it eventually became a farming community known for growing the largest amount of carnation flowers in the world. Today it is still referred to as the “Carnation City” and is home to the Wheat Ridge Carnation Festival.

Anderson Park is one of the best areas in town to offer walking trails and a beautiful landscape to enjoy nature, fishing, bird watching, or picnicking. There are even sports fields, a playground, and a pool for locals. Or take a relaxing stroll around Crown Hill Lake at Crown Hill Park.
Wheat Ridge Greenbelt Open Space covers 300 acres of beautiful land along Clear Creek and is an ideal location for viewing wildlife. Or hop onto the Clear Creek Trail to walk, run, cycle, or ride a horse on this scenic path.
Join The Club at Rolling Hills for access to premier golf, tennis, and social events with fellow community members. Lakewood Country Club is one of the oldest golf courses in the region, with a beautiful private 18-hole course that has hosted a number of championship events over the years.
